Panther Fury – Full Review
The Bros are no strangers to Pikpok Pickle’s paddles. We recently reviewed (and fell in love) with the Viper Shadow. We still use this paddle all of the time when we play around Melbourne, but in comparison, the Panther Fury is a completely different animal (pun intended).
The Panther Fury is a fantastic paddle, aimed at all pickleball players that want a premium carbon paddle with a classic paddle shape. It suits Intermediate and Experts because of the power and control of the paddle. But we believe that beginners can start with a great paddle and grow into it, if they have the ability to splash on a higher priced paddle.

At $189, it is great value when compared to other carbon paddles on the market. But it also comes with the signature Pikpok look and feel. If you read our interview with Pikpok, you will understand how much love and effort these guys put into producing their paddles.
Let’s take a closer look at the Panther Fury
Panther Fury: Paddle Specs
The Panther Fury is one slick looking paddle. It has a more classic paddle feel with a slightly shorter handle and rounder paddle face when compared to the other PikPok masterpiece, the Viper Shadow. The lightweight feel and soft, paddle handle feel great when trying out a practice swing. And the texture on the paddle feels nice and is great for spin.
The paddle face is made of T700 Carbon and is ideal for control and spin, while the 16mm thick core is standard for premium control and paddle power.
The paddle grip is soft and comfortable to hold and the paddle doesn’t feel heavy at all. All of these elements come together nicely and the paddle has a classic feel. There are no weird shapes, or longer grips or unique materials, it is just a serious, classic carbon paddle designed for all players of all skill levels.

- Grip Length: 14 cm/ 5.5 inches

Paddle Design: Look & Feel
There is an old saying, that the first taste is with the eye. The Bros go on about it, but we seriously love the Pikpok paddle design. The small details all come together to deliver a beautiful product. Look closely at the paddle face, with a “Designed in Melbourne” proudly emblazoned on every paddle. And the panther strike marks on the paddle, the speed of the paddle and the speed lines, all align with the central concept of the paddle name.
We love that stuff… Some deep thought and work went into these paddles.
And visually, we love the colour of the paddle. The Panther Fury comes in various eye-popping colours but we love the day-glo look of the orange paddle. It is always difficult to capture images of paddles but you can see, these paddles seriously pop. And they look so cool.

And the Paddle just feels great too, but how does it play we hear you ask? Well, dear reader, let us tell you all about it.
Paddle Impressions: On the Court
The Panther Fury is one awesome paddle. It was really easy to peel out some great shots. We had a lot of fun generating some serious spin and the paddle has a nice touch. The control is great when zooming into the net for those intense rallies. And we had fun perfecting our high-velocity Tyson serves with the paddle.
The Bros always rotate paddles when trying out something new, just to compare how the paddles play differently. And it was really interesting when swapping between the Panther Fury and our beloved Viper Shadow. We love the Viper Shadow and scored it an epic 4.5/5 in our Review, with Josh our tennis expert loving that paddle the most.
This time around, Gonz and Matt really loved the feel of the Panther Fury, because it has that “classic” paddle shape. It just felt so good to play with and maybe it worked better with our current skill level. It’s hard to say but we continue to use both paddles, because they are both awesome. But they are both awesome, in a different way.

Overall, the Bros really enjoyed playing with the Panther Fury. It is hard to describe why it felt so great to play with. But we produced some killer shots with this beast and couldn’t get enough playtime with it. And to top it all off, it even matches our Tyson Skechers on the court. A match made in heaven.
Panther Fury: is this Paddle for You?
The Panther Fury is a classic carbon paddle, meaning that any pickleball player will love this paddle and hit some big winners with it. Matt, our most inexperienced Bros loved the Panther Fury the most, as it suited his ability and playing style. While Gonz gravitated to it’s classic shape, control and he could hit some high power spin serves. We had a lot of fun with the paddle, and there were some seriously epic shots produced with it.
We recommend the Panther Fury to players that want a super premium paddle for a great price of $189. It’s a fantastic price for such a high-end Melbourne designed paddle. The design is phenomenal, the playability is top-notch, and the Bros seriously love this thing. Pikpok Pickle have designed another classic, seriously give this one a shot and support your local paddle makers!!!
